Victoria Pickett our Community Health Educator at St. Mary’s Healthcare CPiA is providing sun safety education and games for preschoolers this Spring at local libraries to help the children establish good sun safety practices. This includes, wearing a wide brimmed hat, sunglasses, seeking out shade, covering up exposed areas of the skin with long sleeves and pants and applying sunscreen. Teaching the children these habits early will help them to take actions against cancer.
