NYS HPV Vaccination Summit, hosted by NYS HPV Coalition
Whether you’re a healthcare provider, public health professional, educator, represent a community organization, or an individual who wants to learn more about how the HPV vaccine prevents six types of cancer, this summit is for you! Speakers include HPV vaccination professionals, healthcare providers, and people with lived experience coping with an HPV cancer throughout NYS, including CPiA’s own Ginger Champain, of the NYS Department of Health who will be speaking on how community organizations can take action against HPV cancers. Free CME, Free CE pending.

Men’s Health & Cancer Prevention – Healthy Living for Healthy Men, hosted by Nassau Library Health Share
Cancer prevention in the man cave?! Yes please! In this session you’ll learn about cancers that primarily affect men or people assigned male at birth (AMAB). Learn about the importance of knowing your body, practicing prevention, and screening guidelines for specific cancers.
Did you know that the most common types of HPV cancer, cancer of the mouth and throat, are overwhelmingly more common in men and AMAB folks? Learn how you can prevent this cancer and others at this session, or if you can’t make it, click learn more with CPiA

Both businesses are taking action against skin cancer with sun safety policies for guests & staff.
